Malaysia Airlines Cadet Pilot 2011

Hi readers,

There are bunch of SPM students waiting for this opportunity based on my previous post for Malaysia Airlines Pilot.

Successful candidate will undergo a comprehensive training programme for approximately twelve months prior to being established as Second Officer.

Requirements:

• Malaysian citizen below the age of 30 years old (as at date of application).

• Pass SPM or its equivalent qualification recognized by Malaysian Government

with six (6) credits including Bahasa Malaysia, English, Mathematics and

Physics or General Science in one sitting.

OR

• Possess Diploma / Degree from universities recognized by Malaysian

Government.

• Hold Malaysian Commercial Pilot License / Instrument Rating (CPL / IR).

• Passed frozen Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL) in not more than

3 sittings per subject with minimum of 30 flying hours.

• Minimum of Level 4 of Aviation English.

• Good command of Bahasa Malaysia and English, both written and spoken.

• Must be physically and mentally fit.

• Minimum height 163 cm (5ft 4in).

• Prepared to sign conversion training bond.

Candidates who are pursuing Malaysian Commercial Pilot License / Instrument Rating (CPL / IR) and frozen Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL) may also apply with similar qualification above.

All short listed candidates will be required to undergo psychometric test and simulator assessment successfully before being invited for interviews

Earlier today, Kpop celebrities Kim Junsu and Kim Hyunjoong were spotted playing football for charity in SamYook University. The event which was held for the start of the new school year and to welcome the university students, FC Men (composed of Junsu and Hyunjoong) played a friendly match with the university’s football team for charity. FC Men is the celebrity football team founded by Junsu and Hyunjoong, also have members composed of : Kim Jaejoong, Park Yoochun, Kim Bum, Song JoongKi, and Lim JuHwan.

Despite having a hour long comeback special broadcasted on SBS last week, YG Entertainment confirms Bigbang’s first official comeback stage for their set of promotions for ‘Tonight’. On the 3rd of March, YG Entertainment announced a statement saying - “Big Bang will be performing their first comeback stage through SBS’s ‘Inkigayo‘ on March 6th.” Meanwhile, a comeback stage on MBC’s Music Core is being discussed on the 12th while Bigbang not making any appearance on KBS ‘Music Bank’ due to the company’s dispute.

I’m a positive guy in the tech-manner and speculation. But some guys have just stepped up with a lot of jinnie in a bottle to predict the new model of iPhone 5 by Verizons. Lets meet iPhone 5 (The rumor version) as what I read, most of it confidentaly are attractive and for this time its a kind of utter joke or some kind of wild rumors.

Went to Bukit Merah Laketown Resort with my friends.
Enjoy swimming there, playing in the theme park.
But,
I'm TANNED !
Damn! Haha.

How much salary a pilot for Malaysia Airlines (MAS) can earn?

Below are some of the salary figures for a Pilot working with the Malaysia Airlines. Credit to AskCaptainLim.com for the figures, which were based on the 2006 scheme, hence there might have been changes in the salary figures as of today.

Captain Lim has been a pilot for MAS for more than 10 years, flying Boeing 777 internationally and Airbus A320 domestically. He has clocked over 23,000 flying hours and have covered various routes such as Auckland, New York and Middle East. His website provides useful information for aspiring and existing pilots, banking on his wealth experience in the airline industry.

Basic salary for Second Officers (SO):

• Upon endorsement, a Cadet Pilot will be paid a basic monthly salary of RM4,229
• On posting to the fleet, without supervision of co-pilot – RM5,069
• Second year on fleet – RM5,360
• Third year and onwards – RM5,668

Basic salary for First Officers (FO):

• Narrow body aircraft – RM5,984 – RM9,501
• Wide body aircraft – RM9,146 – RM17,009

Narrow body and wide body aircrafts are differentiated by a number of factors including the plane size and width, seating and so on. Typically, a narrow body aircraft has less than 200 seating, while a wide body can accommodate between 200 to 600 (Note: This is just a general definition).

Meals and Night Stop Allowances:

•  Allowances range between RM150 to RM160 per night, depending on city of stop over.

Flying/Pilot Productivity Allowances (PPA):

• Narrow body aircraft – RM48 for Captain, RM29 for co-pilot
• Wide body aircraft – RM72 for Captain, RM43 for co-pilot

Average Gross Salary (inclusive of basic salary & allowances):

• Second Officer, SO – RM6,000 – RM8,000
• First Officer, FO – RM10,000 – RM16,000 (also depends on craft size)
• Captain – RM15,000 – RM35,000 (also depends on craft size)
